This post is about preparing your mental and emotional health for lean times by taking full advantage of the good times.
There is a story about a young dreamer named Joseph. He was the grandson of a rather courageous man named Abraham. While there is a lot that can be said of its history, there is not enough space In this article, to tell everything.
Joseph was in the land of Egypt as a young man and he had a wonderful gift, a dreamer, and it was through the Ability to interpret dreams accompanied. He not only had these gifts, but he was a man of character that could be trusted at the highest pressure and temptation.
This combination of gift and character allowed him to get the attention of the Pharaoh (line of rulers in ancient Egypt) of the time. First, because of his gift to someone who was previously in the vicinity of Pharaoh, the second a habit of using integrity. This led to that person to recommend him, if Pharaoh had a dream of him worried.
Pharaoh's dream was that 7 were consumed very healthy animals by 7 malnourished animals. A second version of the dream was consumed 7 healthy grains were up 7 grains. Joseph correctly interpreted, that it would be 7 years and 7 wealthy impoverished years. Now Pharaoh was no fool. He knew Joseph was a gifted individual and asked Joseph's advice. Joseph said, why not save some of you have plenty of cover in the years to you during the lean years.
Oh, did I mention, Pharaoh was no fool. I bet he knew some of Joseph's history. That is, Joseph had successfully run the operation of the main man be the Pharaoh, the captain of the guard, Potiphar. That is until he ran into a case of sexual harassment. But that's another story for another time. Suffice the finding that Joseph "from this world," management skills. Sun Pharaoh placed Joseph as a ruler, second only to itself, to ensure that much has been lean for years. Joseph was incredibly successful and Egypt instead of abundance in the lean years.
So take a page from Joseph's Manual, I would say it will always be times that are better than others. Most look at this wisdom to apply for their finances. But what is equally important it is in the Asset management of your senses, you have the time to invest. There will always come a time when you do not have the time or trouble to build up. If you do not build do even in good times, it can leave you anxious, exhausted, embarrassed, and stressed during lean times.
How do you prepare your mind in good Times for the command of your mental health and happiness hold during the lean times? Here are some thoughts.
Read books. Those written by someone you consider to successfully operate its history and writing shares pearls of knowledge and wisdom.
Take a class to something you learn to add. Learn a language such as Spanish, French or Japanese. Practice is a journey in itself!
Send an e-mail or letter to someone you admire them requesting an interview in order to gain knowledge and wisdom. You will be surprised who communicate with you if you genuinely interested will show. A tip: to share something with them, you know, is a common interest.
Start an exercise therapy to reduce stress and promote health.
Participate in a seminar. Many times your local library or Chamber of Commerce has many local events that are free or low cost.
Find a mentor. Learn to trust someone to give you advice and feedback. Someone you admire, who, where you want in life. Follow their advice
Develop your Dream by creating an "experience" issue that speaks and crystallized all the things you want to do and are willing to work toward.
Walks to think and act. Often we are so in the occupied we will not only take time to think. Keep in mind, things for which you are grateful.
Renew and began a friendship that you share that attracts and that you busy.
Practice change a habit by focusing on the opposite of habit. A Example, if you desire to lose weight start to time by people who get lost in the process are (in a healthy way) spend weight and learn from them.
