We have all seen boring moments when we can not pay attention. You can fight attention during a dull lecture, business meeting have in a small conference room right after lunch or a long talk on the phone. makes your inability to pay attention, it is difficult for you to remember what was discussed or presented. Your memory is faulty in these situations because you need to carefully pay attention to detail to code and from memory. If you do not pay attention, you can not remember very well.
If you are in these situations, you can try different ways to stay alert. You can wriggle in your seat, rub your eyes, stand up, speak or doodle. Yes, I said doodle.
You were probably taught that scribbling is synonymous with not paying attention. In the school was told, "Stop scribbling" Eighth and. By working with people who like attention deficit challenges, Mary Sue Williams, OTR / L and Sherry Shellenberger OTR / L also found that fine motor activities, such as restless with a paper clip or rubber band can help people to self-regulate vigilance. So scribble can also another fine motor skills, that our mental and physical stimulation stops at a warning level to condemn the attention of drilling situations.
If you also doodle images and words that are associate with the content of the call or boring presentations, use visual images to help you remember what you hear. This technique allows you use visual and verbal memory together, to the encoding and retrieval of information from memory to make design more thorough and efficient.
